  LINE BORING

Precision line boring is a core speciality of Matra Motor. We undertake line boring of damaged or mis-aligned bores with a wide range of custom designed equipment. We cater for diameters ranging from 25 mm. to 600 mm. as standard, with individual bore length up to 3 metres. Numbers of in-line bores (e.g. main journal pockets) can be machined with several metres separating each bore.
For all applications including main journal pockets we provide a complate service including full NDT an optical alignment to ensure a high degree of accuracy.
These services are available world-wide. If necessary, we will undertake some works while the vessel is at sea.
